Last week, I got a long holiday after done with my school’s final exam; it counted from Wednesday until I meet Sunday, yea~ Sooo that is the perfect time for me to do a lot of thing that I can’t do during this busy semester.
I did a lot of drawings when I was bored with studying and stuffs. I did practice my pencil-coloring skill too! But then I realized that doing a manual coloring is much easier and doesn’t take much time than doing it digitally. And—I think that my artwork looks better if I just color it with coloring pencil too? Don’t you think so? Erm—Okay, never mind. Anyway, uh, I hate it when a lot of drawing ideas coming to me when I was busy with school.
I usually find some references from any mangas when drawing something. But I forgot that I could accidentally procrastinate with just opening any manga’s page. Huhu, yeah, I can’t hold my desire to continue read the manga just after I checked any page. There are some mangas that I use for my drawing reference. I use Kuroshitsuji for my reference of body proportion, outfits, angles, and also any pose (…okay, there is so many of them, actually I learned a lot from this Yana Toboso’s work). I use any Nakayoshi’s manga for my casual female’s outfit reference. I use Seiyuu Ka-! for my reference of casual outfit for both male or female. I use Love Stage! For my reference of male proportion and also yaoi scene! EHEHE
And after I checked Seiyuu Ka-! for the 232904070173 times for my drawing reference, suddenly there’s an urge to continue read it more further since the theme of this manga is interesting and I never get boret with it (I only collect it until the 4th volume anyway). I love Maki Minami’s way to make a lot of expressive yet funny expressions in this manga. Its humor is suited my standard (?) too. And also, the most important thing besides that is, I LOVE MIZUKI SO MUCH! (I don’t know why, but he has A LOT aura of Fukuyama Jun even If I only enjoy the manga at the moment, is that called seiyuu-biased? lol)
Then, on the last day of my school’s final exam, I stayed up late at school to download all Seiyuu Ka-!’s chapters. Lolyea. So, it has considered that I will spend my holiday to read Seiyuu Ka-!. HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAH HA
But in the end, I finished it just in one day.
I GIGGLED A LOT BECAUSE THERE’S BL AND A LOT OF FUNNY SCENES EVEN MY MOM ALMOST BRING MYSELF TO LUNATIC ASYLUM BUT THEN THAT GIGGLING VOICE REPLACED WITH A LOT OF TEARS AT THE TEARJERKING ENDING PART’S CHAPTERS—I REALLY TOUCHED AND MY FEEL’S ALWAYS EXPLODING WHEN THERE’S A SCENE ABOUT HIME AND HER MOTHER. YESYESYES CALL ME AS A SUCH CRYBABY—
This is how i read manga by my netbook device
I think the best thing that can make you want to read this manga continuously is how Hime can reach her dream to become the first class seiyuu. I usually will get bored with the typical high spirited main heroine in the shoujo manga, but this is not happened with Hime. I wonder how Maki Minami can make it?
And once again, the theme of this manga is so interesting, a seiyuu and idol world! The readers can learn about how does their favorite anime or drama cd was created, about how does their idol’s concert can be done smoothly, and also how does the entertainment world looks like. If you think this manga is similar to Utapri, nope, you got it wrong. If Utapri has an excessive amount of lovey dovey thingy (because I think they’re focusing into the ‘harem’ genre itself), but Seiyuu Ka-! just give you a normal amount of romance, and really focusing into the theme itself, the entertainment world and such. Actually, I can feel that Maki Minami has dragged the story into harem story plot but it was not very… visible? So for me, who doesn’t really like harem story like Utapri or Amnesia, reading Seiyuu Ka-! still can be counted as an enjoyment.
I love all characters in this series, but the one who I like the most in Seiyuu Ka-! is…
Yes, Haruka Yamada ///
I LOVE—THE S SIDE OF HIM AHAAHHAHAHAHAH I really like it when he bully Shiro a lot. His mature personality is so impressing too. He is really a good producer!
Uhh yeah, I have mentioned that I like Mizuki, he has a good husband material –HAHA. But when he is being rejected by Hime and he is being SENPAIZONED—I think he turned into a pitiable character which i dislike. But if I can put it as a rank, Mizuki can get the 2nd rank of my favorite character.
And the third goes to Ume, she’s my favorite from the gang. I think because me and Ume have some similarities like… we both love to draw, we both love to fangirling over idol, and we both can be really annoying.
I think I have spitted out all of my excitement after reading Seiyuu Ka-! It’s good if you decide to read it, and I think it worth the time that you spent to read those 70 chapters. The story goes well-flowing. During your time when reading, you can smile, you can giggle, you can laugh, you can shock, you can be sad, you can cry, and you can be happy. You can get a lot of warm feel from this manga.
